VA Tech Wabag gets 2 orders of ₹145 crore and ₹700 crore

VA Tech Wabag, a leading Water treatment agency based in Chennai, has come up with a boom in the beginning of the year. In this January, it has come up with an offer of Rs ₹145 crore from Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. CPCL made this order for the engineering, design, fabrication, installation, supply, and commissioning of water pipelines from CPCL Manali Refinery and desalination plant at Kattupalli. As per the commitment given by VA Tech Wabag sales and marketing department, this project is subjected to be completed over a period over 1 year.
They have scooped another order of nearly ₹700 crore from the Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company in Zambia. This order is for Procurement, Engineering, and Construction (EPC) of two advanced wastewater treatment plants of 19 Megaliters Per Day and 54 Megaliters Per Day.
Earlier in December 2024, the company management started discussing for another order of ₹2700 crore order from the Saudi Arabia. It is an order for 300 MLD mega seawater desalination plant in Saudi Arabia. However, the deal is still under the discussion table. It is yet to be finalised.
