National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Ltd), a 49-year-old power company, is now managed by Gurdeep Singh (Chairman & MD), Govt. of India (Owner) and they have employees of nearly 15,700 (as of 2022) people. Their services are Electricity generation and distribution, mining, etc. NTPC launched its IPO in 2004 at Rs 73.33; this stock has shown 183.27% growth in the last 5 years. However, their revenue is 1,81,166 crore and their net profit is 20,332 crore for FY 2023-24.
