Ashok Leyland enters EV market; Bags 150 Crore Deal

This Group has entered into a partnership with Billion Electric Mobility which is a subsidiary of the BillionE Group they have proceeded to introduce a brand new group of electric trucks and this surely marks an important move in the country’s EV sector. The order book of the company consists of an order of 180 units which is valued at around Rs 150 crore and it includes the BOSS electric trucks and 55T electric tractors. The company further went on to say that they expect the deliveries to commence in the year 2025. Kartikey Hariyani, the CEO of Billion E-Mobility, believes that it would help the company’s goal to create a sustainable electric truck platform.
